Wildflowers Sun Salutation – Yellow Flowers on a Blue Sky
If you like wildflowers, here’s a lovely and uplifting photo of some yellow flowers at the Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park in Columbus, Ohio (Galloway, Ohio, technically).
These bright yellow flowers are “reaching” up to the big, blue sky for that all important, nourishing light. ๐
Have you noticed how yellow flowers always seem to bring out people’s smiles?
Not sure exactly why but it may have something to do with their “sunny” appearance and bright color.
The Columbus Metropolitan area has many Metro Parks and they have LOTS of flowers to be seen.
Like the Metro Park’s website says:
Established in 1945, Columbus and Franklin County Metropolitan Park District “Metro Parks” features 17 outstanding natural area parks with around 200 miles of trails, and protects more than 27,000 acres of land and water in seven Central Ohio counties. Metro Parks offers free educational and recreational opportunities every day of the year that will excite your senses and rekindle your spirit.
Yep, the Metro Parks are one of the many awesome things about the Columbus area and there’s always something beautiful to see and photograph.
