A Sneak Peek of the Upcoming Relaunch Changes

You may have also heard a variation of this quote as “The only constant is change“.
This is very true.
I have had so many changes in the past half year that it seems like it’s easier to count the things that have not changed than to list the changes!
But that’s OK because, even though I’ve fallen a bit behind, I’m almost finished with one of the goals that I made for myself this year – redesigning and relaunching CEGPhoto.com.
Here’s a quick peek:
My focus post-relaunch will be on the photos and good content.
When I set out to change the website (and my own mindset) the main thing I wanted to accomplish was to get back to what I truly love about photography – capturing memories and sharing the kind of joy that a single photo can give just by looking at it.
So my main focus immediately became to share a lot of photographs and to share what about them makes me happy.
I’ll have weekly and daily photos along with some good content and conversations to go along with them.
I also know that not every photograph I make is a work of art and even the bad ones can carry good memories.
I’m not alone in that so I’m also going to share some everyday photos because I find them funny, interesting or cool and I know others out there will think the same and appreciate the non-“gallery worthy” photos. …I’ve got a lot of them! 🙂
The relaunched site content should be easier to read.
It’s taken longer than I originally planned but good things should not be rushed (that’s what I tell myself, at least).
I’ll soon be updating my email list and giving away a nice ebook that I designed and created myself to my subscribers.
It’ll be a good idea to sign up for updates because I’ll also send various freebies and discounts / coupon codes for photo purchases.
I’m looking forward to the changes and the challenges.
It’ll be fun so I hope you’ll come along with me for the ride. 🙂
