Early Season Cross Country Running Invitational
Even though I didn’t write a new Photos of the Week post last week, I did get outside to shoot some new photos at a couple of events.
One of those events was a high school Cross Country Running (XC) invitational with schools from across Ohio.

The early season invitational meet was the first one of the Cross Country (XC) season and it was held in Hebron Ohio at the National Trail Raceway.
The weather was quite hot and these kids were out in the heat all day running so I definitely have to give props to them.
I know, in the shape I’m currently in, even a one mile run in that heat would have me ready to get on the bus and head home!
But, thankfully, I was just there to cheer and take photos! 🙂
I am slowly getting back into better shape for running though so maybe another 5k, 10k or marathon is my future!
