So, there's probably not enough to tell about myself to necessitae a full blown biography page but since I'm here and typing...

I'm from Ohio and would probably classify myself as a hobbyist photographer.  I've never had any formal training and had never sold my work until now.  I love photography because it allows me to excercise my creativity and gets me outside when I want to go out to photograph something in particular like flowers or a specific place.

I love to travel and I would have to say that my love of both photography and travel started at an early age.  My family always went on many vacations during the years that I was growing up and both my parents and my brothers and I always had cameras with us.  My father would have both his video camera and his Minolta 35mm SLR and shoot some excellent video and photos and still does today.

My interest in photography started while I was in college at The Ohio State University but didn't actually start moving and become serious until after I graduated, started working and bought my first digital camera.  Since about 2001 now, I've been shooting digital and trying to constantly improve my abilities.
